Who’s getting excited about (fingers crossed) the reopening of the shops, gyms and resturants on April the 12th?
I must admit I was over the moon and then time seem to stand still ………typical.
So it’s 5 weeks away and we’re using this time to expand. If you’ve not seen our expansion project have a look here – https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/bringing-the-community-and-crafters-together
The plan is to get this project completed for reopening.
Step one is complete, carpets removed.
Its an amazing space that we’re transforming, so my excitement for opening is back.
What are looking forward to the most ?
Hey,
How’s everyone doing? I hope you are safe and well.
Its been a good week, lots going on and I’m struggling to keep track of days and apparently we’re only nine days in to the year.
So what’s been going on……
Well we’re still able to send orders out all over the Uk and we’re offering a click and collect service too…..https://Www.simplyneedlecraft.com
A huge thank you to everyone that has placed an order, we’re getting your orders out the same day if you order before 2pm.
Our VIP fabric group members are busy making their January projects……its not to late to get this months box if you want to join in.

I’ve also filmed the children’s stitch school project for January’s lesson. The lessons are due to posted out on the 15th of January, to get your child enrolled into my virtual school please visit https://www.simplysewingboxes.com/the-stitch-school/
And finally because I love learning new things I’ve signed up to a knitting course (yep I’m absolutely useless at knitting but OK at crochet)
So what’s is everyone doing to keep busy, what ongoing projects have you got on the go, what new skills are you learning?
Stay safe, well and warm

Hey,
30 days ago I set a challenge on social media, the challenge was to do something creative everyday for 30 days.
I’ve been overwhelmed by the response. Everyone is so talented, every day you posted a photo of what you’ve been making, everyday you’ve put a smile on my face, everyday you’ve inspired others to have a go ……. thank you x
here’s a few
In other news this week,………the shop reopened again. It’s so good to get back to work and see you all again.
We’ve also been filming for December’s Stitch School. You’ve got 9 days left to our next enrolment, so if you want to get your children involved in my virtual online sewing classes head over to https://www.simplysewingboxes.com/the-stitch-school/
And last of all……. having some down time……I finished reading the Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
This is a truly powerful book, and one which makes you stop and think about your own life. It helps you see things from so many different angles. Nora could be like any one of us, but the very clever plot of the book, takes her through all of her different lives to help her see what matters and ultimately find the thing that saves her. I feel honoured to have read this, very thought provoking………. I’d recommend this to everyone ❤️
That’s all for this weeks weekly waffle
