We’ve been in our new home for nearly 8 months now. The stock has rapidly grown and we’re get busier and busier week by week.
For me it’s a special place It’s a place full of colours, textures and variety, where I meet fantastic and talented people. The haberdashery comes alive at 9am until 5pm. Its full of laughter, ideas and inspiration. So thank you to everyone that makes it so special. x
Anyway now onto to this weeks fun.
As many of you know that have been in the haberdashery recently we now have a new stand for our cottons, thanks to my lovely husband who found this. So now its time to get it filled with hundreds of cottons in hundreds of different colours.
The donations are still coming in for the Rainbows Hospice Christmas decoration appeal….we’ve had to get a bigger basket to put them in. Thank you to everyone that has donated their time and skills so far. Remember there’s two more weeks left to go.
My favourite customer makes this week has to be this gorgeous and unique knitted Pavlova. I really love this idea, it looks so cute…..what do you think?
This week I haven’t had that much time to make anything but I did squeeze a little time to have a go at free-standing lace. It’s very elegant and simple. It’s something I’d like to make again.
We are also taking part in Small Business Saturday 2014, which is taking place on the 6th December. It’s a day for any small business with bricks and mortar and online businesses. It’s a day to inspire consumers to shop with independent retailers and to shop local. For more info visit https://smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com/#inspire-series
Well that’s about it for this week. Next week we are having two deliveries of goodies and the wool rep is back in the Haberdashery with next seasons newbies.
Thank you to everyone that follows and supports us. Have a fab weekend and I shall see you on Monday morning.
